Over the past 5-6 years, clients have been traveling within the United States and all over the world with their Supascoota's without restriction. As with all Mobility Scooters, it is recommended to gate check any mobility scooter upon boarding so that the scooter can be returned to the client upon arrival at the airline gate.
Checking in scooters to baggage claim, or covering or dismantling the scooter may confuse baggage staff and result in unnecessary damages to the scooter. Most airlines are well versed in handling mobility devices at gate check so we highly recommend this option during travel.
